 Willmar pushed their record up to 22-8 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Mankato West, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 19-8.
 Willmar has already played their next game,  a  3-1  defeat against Marshall on the 30th. Mankato West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
