 University's loss  came despite strong showings from  Kenley Rudiger and  Shylee Dyess.  Rudiger  had 18  digs, while  Dyess  had 20  digs.
 With the  defeat, University broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-8. As for Lewis-Palmer, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-6.
 University has already played their next game,  a  3-0  loss against Lutheran on the 15th. As for Lewis-Palmer, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  defeat against Cheyenne Mountain on the 15th.
