The Antelope Valley Antelopes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 76-52 walloping at the hands of Littlerock. Antelope Valley has not had much luck with Littlerock recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Littlerock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Young Jr., who scored 34 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mathew Monroy, who scored 21 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds.
Antelope Valley's loss was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-16. As for Littlerock, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.
Antelope Valley will head out on the road to challenge Eastside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Zhakari Fulcher and Kiwan Sims. As for Littlerock, they will be playing at home against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
