Eldon waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Eugene Eagles with a sharp  3-0 win. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Eldon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jaidyn Shelden led the charge by  getting eight  digs and three  aces.  Looking ahead, Eldon will face off against California at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. This will  be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Eugene, they will square off against Fulton at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
