After losing to the Granville Blue Aces the last time they met, the Heath Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Heath walked away with a 58-50 victory over Granville on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Heath.
Heath's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Preston Devito, who scored 15 points. The matchup was Devito's third in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Kaminsky was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Heath now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Granville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Heath will take on Valley in a holiday battle at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at. Granville will be home for the holidays to greet Bloom-Carroll at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloom-Carroll will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 509th, while Granville is ranked 46th).
