Great Crossing stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Corbin 75-25 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Great Crossing sure is getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Vince Dawson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Junius Burrell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and four steals.
Great Crossing's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Corbin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Crossing will take on the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry Clay knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully the like a good challenge. As for Corbin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.
