Classical Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic still got an impressive performance from Aliana Arana, who scored six points along with two steals and two blocks. Arana has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last ten times she's played. Keegan Castelli was another key contributor, scoring two points along with three blocks and two steals.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Classical Prep, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Classical Prep will head out on the road to take on Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they will be playing at home against All Saints' Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. All Saints' Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
