Pagosa Springs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kirtland Central Broncos 51-0. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Perhaps the best among them was Colton Lucero, who rushed for 138 yards and three scores on only seven carries. Lucero also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making one tackle.
