MacKinzie Gomez posted a new career-high in hits on Wednesday. She scored a run while going 4-for-4. She was up against Silverado and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in March.

Even though Gomez couldn't lead Granite Hills over Silverado, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Gomez's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cougars' three-game streak of wins at home.
