The Garinger Wildcats put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Harding University at home to the tune of 78-42. The result was nothing new for Garinger, who have now won three contests by 35 points or more so far this season.
Garinger was led to victory by Kim?mya Kelly and Misa Garris. Kelly scored 23 points along with 3 steals, while Garris dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 steals. The matchup was Garris' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Hawah Donzo was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
Garinger's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Harding University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Garinger will be playing in front of their home fans against West Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harding University, they will head out on the road to face off against Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
