Boonsboro is 2-8 against North Hagerstown since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Boonsboro Warriors will look to defend their home court against the North Hagerstown Hubs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Boonsboro's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Walkersville, falling 71-21. While losing is never fun, Boonsboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Walkersville is ranked 61st).
Meanwhile, North Hagerstown was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 55-54 to Linganore.
Boonsboro has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for North Hagerstown, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Boonsboro came up short against North Hagerstown in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 62-54. Can Boonsboro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
