Boonsboro's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Walkersville, falling 71-21. While losing is never fun, Boonsboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Walkersville is ranked 61st).
Meanwhile, North Hagerstown was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 55-54 to Linganore.
Boonsboro has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for North Hagerstown, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
