North Miami's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laney Musall, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Musall has scored at least a third of North Miami's points. Kaiden Hanley was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
When it comes to explaining why North Judson-San Pierre lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kyleigh Lehiy. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cailyn Tunis, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
North Miami's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
North Miami on the road again on Tuesday and play against Oak Hill at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m.
