The Tamarac Bengals will head out on the road to take on the Stillwater Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Tamarac's four-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They managed a 62-57 victory over Cambridge.
Tamarac's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Adam Rice, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks, and Kamerin Edmonds, who scored 25 points along with eight steals and six assists. Rice is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Price, who scored eight points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, Stillwater put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 63-46 victory over Hoosic Valley. Given Stillwater's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Hoosic Valley is ranked 174th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tamarac's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Stillwater, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
Tamarac suffered a grim 70-47 defeat to Stillwater in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Tamarac avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
