The Argonaut Mustangs had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Amador on Friday as Argonaut made off with a 75-55 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Argonaut to victory were Mitchell Mcmahan and Everett Holt. Mcmahan dropped a double-double on 19 points and 23 rebounds, while Holt went 11 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holt has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Duran, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists.
Argonaut's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Amador, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Argonaut will head out on the road to challenge Bret Harte at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amador, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sonora at 7:15 p.m. Sonora will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
