There's no place like home for the Atlanta Girls' School Hurricanes, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Cross Keys 53-17 at home. With Atlanta Girls' School ahead 31-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlanta Girls' School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isabel Sanderson, who scored 21 points. The contest was Sanderson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Libby Knott was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
The victory got Atlanta Girls' School back to even at 3-3. As for Cross Keys, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6.
Atlanta Girls' School will take on Walker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cross Keys, they will be playing at home against Southwest Atlanta Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
