Basketball Recap: Shea Extends Winning Streak to Three

Shea entered their tilt with Smithfield on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 56-50 win over the Smithfield Sentinels. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 53-41 victory the Sentinels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2021.

Shea's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Smithfield, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shea will head out to take on Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smithfield, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wheeler at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Smithfield is facing Wheeler at the right time seeing as Wheeler is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
