They were the victim of a rough 59-34 defeat at the hands of Denver Christian. Dayspring Christian Academy has struggled against Denver Christian recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Dayspring Christian Academy had strong showings from Owen Mcclanahan, who scored nine points along with four steals, and Hudson Weigt, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Dayspring Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Denver Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
