The Balko Bison entered their tilt with Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Balko rang in the new year with a 37-30 victory over Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply on Thursday.
Emelie Trentham continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Estrella Martinez, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Balko's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Balko won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Arnett at 4:00 p.m. on January 5th. Arnett is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cheyenne/Reydon at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
