Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Lothrop). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Birch Run Panthers 64-23. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 27 points or more this season.

New Lothrop's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Birch Run, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Lothrop will be home for the holidays to greet Ovid-Elsie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (New Lothrop: 25.8, Ovid-Elsie: 26.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Birch Run will take on Byron in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
