Leading St. Stephen's Episcopal to victory were Kennedy Lartigue and Annabel Furlong. Lartigue scored 11 points along with three blocks, while Furlong scored eight points along with 16 rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lartigue has scored at least 25% of St. Stephen's Episcopal's points. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Houston, who scored eight points.
St. John's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
St. John's will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Episcopal on January 19th. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they will head out on the road to face off against The Awty International at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
