Softball Recap: Chambersburg's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Chambersburg had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Mechanicsburg Wildcats with a sharp 10-4 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Chambersburg pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mechanicsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
