The Randle Lions will square off against the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Randle will be strutting in after a victory while Lamar Consolidated will be coming in after a loss.
Randle's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Fort Bend Marshall. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Buffalos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Coby Koteras was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Alex Whitsitt, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Randle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Bend Marshall only posted an OBP of .067.
Meanwhile, Lamar Consolidated came up short against Fort Bend Kempner on Friday, falling 9-3.
Lamar Consolidated also got a good showing from Sebastian Silva, who struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits.
At the plate, Sam Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Lamar Consolidated's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 3-15 when he doesn't).
Randle's victory bumped their record up to 14-11-2. As for Lamar Consolidated, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Randle has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lamar Consolidated struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Randle beat Lamar Consolidated 7-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
