The Jim Hill Tigers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Wingfield by a score of 79-69 on Thursday. The victory was just what Jim Hill needed coming off of a 72-43 defeat in their prior contest.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Arrington, who scored 22 points. Arrington scored a full 31.9% of Wingfield's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kentrell Jordan, who scored 19 points.
Jim Hill's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 2-6. As for Wingfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Jim Hill will head out on the road to face off against Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wingfield, they will be playing at home against Warren Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
