After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Autauga Academy, Billingsley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Keith a 10-0 shutout. The team relied heavily on Claire Seamon, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Primm, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
The win snapped Billingsley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record. As for Keith, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.
