After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kinston, Pike Liberal Arts was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Goshen Eagles. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Patriots yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Haylie Brown, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Sarah Strickland was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Pike Liberal Arts always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .741. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Pike Liberal Arts' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Goshen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
