The Huguenot Falcons were the 77-71 winner over the Midlothian Trojans when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Huguenot had to suffer through a rough 60-27 loss at the hands of the Trojans. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Huguenot has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Huguenot had strong showings from Trevion Brown, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Ra'sean Miller, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
Huguenot has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Midlothian, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
Huguenot will head out on the road to challenge the Rapids at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. James River Midlothian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully the Falcons like a good challenge. As for Midlothian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Lancers at 7:15 p.m. Manchester presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Trojans in Virginia (the Lancers are ranked 22nd, while the Trojans are ranked 237th).
