Andrews's Colin Gillespie recorded the longest rushing play in 1A Conference 1 this season in his game against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee last week. Gillespie scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 144 on the day as his team fell to the Eagles.
Robbinsville took down Asheville School 69-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Hayesville's dynamic duo of Isaac Mills and Tyler Leek proved to be unstoppable against Rabun County, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Mills threw for 128 yards and Leek had 90 yards receiving. Weston Acosta helped Hayesville's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 34 yards.

Blake Wright was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 143 yards as Swain County fell to Lee Shaw's team. Spencer McCoy also contributed to the rushing game with 126 yards on the ground.
Mills put up the best numbers in passing as the Yellowjackets fell to the Wildcats.
Leading 1A Conference 1 in both passing and receiving yards, Hayesville's Mills and Leek have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Mills has thrown for 404 yards this season, while Leek has 13 catches for 190 yards. McCoy from the Maroon Devils leads the league in rushing with 391 yards.
The Tigers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,724 from 10,776. The improvement was the result of 28-14 victory over Rosman last week.
