Andrew Jackson Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gage Dicks out in front who went 8 of 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. Dicks' afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden McClung, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds.
Andrew Jackson Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson Davis Academy).
