Meanwhile, Venus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of Southwest Christian School.
Bridgeport now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Venus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
