Sumner can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against the Searsport Vikings as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sumner picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Searsport, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Sumner will square off against Washington Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Searsport, they will take on Piscataquis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
