The Rosamond Roadrunners scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Boron at home to the tune of 85-28. That 85-28 margin sets a new team best for Rosamond this season.
Rosamond's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Arredondo, who scored 33 points. The game was Arredondo's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabian Robles, who scored 22 points.
Rosamond is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Boron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosamond will take on Kern Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kern Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 back in December of 2023. Boron is on the road again on Friday and play against Frazier Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th.
