New Buffalo found their leader in underclassman Lucas Forker, who scored 25 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Forker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliott Bourne, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Covert dropped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for New Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.
