Mooreland won the last time they faced Waynoka and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bearcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Railroaders an 18-0 shutout. The matchup marked the Bearcats' most dominant win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mooreland and bumps their season record up to 5-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Waynoka, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Mooreland will take on Texhoma at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waynoka, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Kremlin-Hillsdale on the 11th.
