The Lassiter Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 62-12 win over Allatoona. That looming 62-12 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lassiter yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lassiter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malia Loadwick, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Loadwick's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Wyman, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
The victory was the third in a row for Lassiter, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Allatoona, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Lassiter won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fellowship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th. Fellowship Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Lassiter a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Allatoona will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sequoyah at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
