While Enfield might've come up empty on Saturday, Payten Stebbins wasn't going down without a fight. Stebbins was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Stebbins and Enfield will be playing at home against Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Stebbins' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Enfield's nine-game streak of wins on the road.
