Blanche Ely got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was JAYELEN JONAS out in front who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points JONAS has scored all season. KALEB CORBITT was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Stoneman Douglas has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Blanche Ely, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Stoneman Douglas will be playing in front of their home fans against Pompano Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Jonathan Berwig and Jaheem Smith. As for Blanche Ely, they will face off against Coral Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Springs will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
