The Pueblo West Cyclones won the last time they faced the Elizabeth Cardinals, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Pueblo West strolled past Elizabeth with  points to spare, taking the game  63-49. That's two games straight that Pueblo West has won by exactly 14  points.
 Pueblo West got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Malachi Stump out in front who  scored 16 points along with eight  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Stump has scored at least 25% of Pueblo West's points. Another player making a difference was  Marek Crowley, who  scored 19 points.
 Elizabeth lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Diessen Lindsay, who  scored 11 points along with six  steals and five  rebounds. Those six  steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cooper Connelley, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 13  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Elizabeth  were smashing the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 The  victory  makes it two in a row for Pueblo West and  bumps their season record up to 3-3. As for Elizabeth,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-4.
 Pueblo West's road trip will continue as they head out to face Golden at 5:30  p.m.  on December 15th. Golden presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pueblo West in Colorado (Golden is ranked eighth, while Pueblo West is ranked 145th). As for Elizabeth, they will head out on the road to face off against Ponderosa at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Ponderosa is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last six games.
