Steinbrenner has gone a perfect 4-0 against Wiregrass Ranch recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will challenge the Bulls at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Steinbrenner 2.6, Wiregrass Ranch 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Steinbrenner is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Wharton 8-6. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.
Lilly Patton spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jenna Fortenberry, who went 1-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Emily Kuba also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Wiregrass Ranch came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 17 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Gators by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-2.
Kylie Glatfelter looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chloe Troupe was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Valentin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Wiregrass Ranch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Land O' Lakes only posted a batting average of .214.
Steinbrenner's record is now 18-7. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their record now sits at 22-3.
Steinbrenner came out on top in a nail-biter against Wiregrass Ranch when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
