Carroll extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jillian Salts. The Carroll Cougars came out on top against the Maconaquah Braves by a score of 62-53 on Tuesday thanks in part to Salts, who went 9 for 14 on her way to 23 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.
Maconaquah lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Delaney Betzner, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Betzner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ireland Kile, who posted 14 points.
