Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mineral Point). They claimed a resounding 86-44 victory over the Southwestern Wildcats. The Pointers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 34 points or more this season.

The win (which was Mineral Point's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 44.7 points. As for Southwestern, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

When Mineral Point and Southwestern next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Mineral Point will try to stop Prairie du Chien's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Southwestern will challenge Belmont and their three-game winning streak at 7:20 p.m. on December 30th.
