After a string of five wins, Rowlett's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sachse Mustangs. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Rowlett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roger Funke, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Rowlett's loss dropped their record down to 18-6-1. As for Sachse, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

While Rowlett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
