This season hasn't been kind to the Griffin School Griffins, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 57-13 loss at the hands of NYOS Charter. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Griffin School has scored all season.
Trey Huff continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for NYOS Charter, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. Huff is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Colin Shelton, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Griffin School dropped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for NYOS Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Griffin School will be playing at home against St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. NYOS Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Meridian at 12:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
