It was a good run, but Claremont unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Millikan Rams by a score of 2-1.

Claremont's offense was headlined by Tatum Longyear and Chloe Leeper, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Rylan Vlasich and her 18 assists. Olivia Roberts controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Claremont's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Millikan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-9.

Claremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Burroughs on the 11th. As for Millikan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Venice on the 11th.
