Enloe made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cardinal Gibbons, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 11-9 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Madison Haga made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Watson, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Wakefield faced Wake Forest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enloe has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. However, it's not like Wakefield struggles in that department as they've averaged .453. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enloe suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Wakefield when the teams last played back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
