Starting off the list is Worth County/Northeast Nodaway's Landon Wilmes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Wilmes rushed for 283 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

North Andrew was led to victory by Levi Mcafee, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mcafee rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.

He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.

Chase Cline was instrumental in extending Albany's winning streak to seven on Friday. Cline turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while also throwing for 134 yards and two touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
This year, Cline has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 103.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 20.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 55.43 rushing yards.
