The Oregon-Davis Bobcats suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 60-36 defeat at the hands of Elkhart Christian Academy. Oregon-Davis was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-12.
Elkhart Christian Academy was led to victory by Aiden Hibbard and Kian Hibbard. Hibbard scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Hibbard scored 13 points along with five steals. Hibbard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. LJ Bevier was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Oregon-Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oregon-Davis and Winamac will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Jimtown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jimtown will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
