The matchup between Thomas Jefferson and Richmond High School for the Arts on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Vikings' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win was the third in a row for Thomas Jefferson, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
