The King William Cavaliers will be playing in front of their home fans against the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as King William comes in on ten and King & Queen Central on three.
King William took a 30-point defeat the last time they faced off against Carver College and Career Academy, but they managed to turn things around on Tuesday. King William never let Carver College and Career Academy onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Despite the win, that was the fewest points King William has scored all season.
Meanwhile, King & Queen Central strolled past West Point with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 41-27.
King & Queen Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janiya Brown, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Amelia Moaney, who scored 13 points.
King William pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for King & Queen Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
