South Haven Christian came within a touchdown against Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, but wound up with a 36-44 loss. This makes it the second loss in a row for South Haven Christian.
South Haven Christian's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Frankie Gagliano, who rushed for 177 yards and 1 touchdown. Sophomore Emmanuel Deng was in the mix, too, providing they with 2 touchdowns.
The loss dropped South Haven Christian's record to 0-2. The win got Sacred Heart of Jesus back to even at 1-1.
Next week, South Haven Christian take on Bowling Green Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. South Haven Christian continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game. Sacred Heart of Jesus hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next game against Riverside Christian Academy at 7:00 PM on Friday.
