The Southridge Spartans extended their postseason success on Friday against Lourdes Academy. They enjoyed a cozy  61-42 victory over the. The  victory was nothing new for Southridge as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Leading Southridge to victory were  Dianka Hardisson and  Shanaii Gamble.  Hardisson  scored 17 points along with five  steals, while  Gamble  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 14  rebounds. Hardisson has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Unique Horton, who  scored six points along with 15  rebounds.
  Luciana Picasso and  Sophia Sandoval certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Picasso  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 14  rebounds, while  Sandoval  scored 20 points. Picasso has been hot recently, having posted ten or more  rebounds the last four times she's  played.
 Southridge has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record  this season. As for Lourdes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
 Southridge will take on Dwyer at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Southridge is coming into the  game with three straight  wins on the road,  so Dwyer is out to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. Lourdes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
